Original Mercedes parts for new vehicles

A large number of spare parts produced by the automotive industry today are designed to last a lifetime and therefore do not need to be replaced very often. However, there are also parts that require regular maintenance and, in some cases, replacement. Brake discs and clutch linings are a typical example of components prone to wear and breakdowns. The frequency of their replacement depends on your driving style and car model, but, as a rule, it is usually within a hundred thousand kilometers.

According to the German Automobile Club (ADAC), malfunctions of electrical equipment are among the main reasons of car breakdowns and failures. These failures can cause: issues with the battery, starter failure or problems with the electronic engine control system.

It is highly recommended that you only buy genuine Mercedes parts for new cars. Otherwise you may lose your warranty.

The history of Mercedes-Benz

Carl Benz founded his company Benz & Cie in 1883. On January 29, 1886, more than 135 years ago, a German engineer registered a patent for the first vehicle with a gasoline engine. This event marked the beginning of the entire German automotive industry. Around the same period, engineer Daimler founded the Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft (DMG).

Due to a merger of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft and Benz & Cie emerged a new company - Daimler-Benz AG, with headquarters located in Stuttgart. The current name came later in 1900 when a businessman, Emil Jellinek, had registered several race cars designed at various factories of Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft after the second name of his daughter - Adriana Mercedes. In 1901 the company registered its exclusive trademark, and from that year it began producing cars under the Mercedes brand. And since 1910, all models of Mercedes already had its classic star on the hood of the car.

Today this brand is used in different business ventures of Daimler AG, for example, in the registration of the credit institution of the company - Bank Mercedes-Benz or the creation of the Mercedes-Benz museum, which was founded in Stuttgart-Untertürkheim, where the company has its own exhibition of historical cars. Nowadays, the world famous manufacturer offers a wide range of both new and used cars under warranty.
